History

Julio Lanzoni arrived in Ibiza in 1990 after having left the big city.
For the first 2 years he explored the islands possibilities and after being greatly inspired, he started his new project: as owner of the 3th chiringuito on Ses Salinas Beach.

And so on 17 may 1993 the Jockey Club was born and for the first summer seasons, partying and music together with danicng on a large dance floor or in the sea, were its main atrraction.
Because its quality cuisine, good service and staying open from spring to autumn the Jockey Club  became a restaurant and finally in 1999 the club decided to stay open all year long to serve the Ibiza residents better.

Today all of Julios dreams have come true.
His Jockey Club grew to one of the hottest clubs of Ibiza where you can have breakfast in front of the sea, exquisite dinners on the beach, enjoy live music with top of the bill DJs, drink wonderfull cocktails and ......you can shop for nice cloths in the Jockey Club own shop.
But ofcourse there are these nice sun-loungers next to the turquoise sea where you can sunbathe from dawn till sunset and meanwhile enjoy a wonderfull meals and drinks inside the restaurant or on the beach.

The Jockey Club is the best place for recuperating after a night full of partying.
Today the Jockey Club and its popular restaurant with fresh fish and international menu, in great settings on a wonderfull beach, is one of Ibizas hottest spots.
Its outdoors dancefloor, always breezy, with good music is very popular for its true Balearic spirit, by everybody, residents and tourists all year long.
